Terms of Service

By accessing or using the VidhyaKendra platform ("Service"), available at www.vidhyakendra.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users including institutional admins, teachers, and students.

VidhyaKendra provides a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) for educational institutions. The platform offers two dedicated products:

• School Platform: A complete management system for K-12 schools including Admin CMS Panel, Teacher Panel, Student Panel, fee management, attendance, exam results, homework, notices, and reporting.
• Coaching Platform: A dedicated management system for coaching institutes and tuition centres including Admin CMS Panel, Teacher Panel, Student Panel, batch management, test scheduling, fee management, and performance analytics.

To use the Service, institutions must register an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at support@vidhyakendra.com of any unauthorised access.
• Ensuring all users (admins, teachers, students) added to your institution account comply with these Terms.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, educational institutional purposes. You must not:

• ✕Use the platform to store, transmit, or share unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• ✕Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other institutions' data or accounts.
• ✕Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the platform.
• ✕Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the platform without written permission.
• ✕Resell or sublicense access to the platform to third parties without prior written consent.

Access to the Service is provided under a subscription model as described on our Pricing page.

• 1Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected.
• 2All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing or required by law.
• 3We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• 4Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension or termination of access.
• 5A 30-day free trial is available for new institutions. No credit card is required during the trial period.

All student data, academic records, and institutional content you upload or create within the platform remain your property. You grant VidhyaKendra a limited, non-exclusive licence to process this data solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose other than delivering and improving the Service.

The VidhyaKendra platform, including its software, design, logo, and documentation, is owned by VidhyaKendra and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the platform during your active subscription. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works based on the platform.

We aim to provide 99.5% uptime for the platform. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control including third-party infrastructure failures, force majeure events, or internet disruptions.

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the platform will be deactivated at the end of the current billing period.
• You may export your institution's data within 30 days of termination. After 90 days, data will be permanently deleted.
• We reserve the right to immediately suspend accounts that violate these Terms without refund.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidhyaKendra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
